hey guys,
I'm just looking at a vitara to wreck and i'm wondering if anyone knows what models had power steering?
This a 1989 swb manual with a carby 1.6.
Did a quick search but couldn't find anything...
any help would be much appreciated

I've wrecked a few Vits and all had PS but not every car came with it. I don't think there is any surefire way of saying which cars didn't have it. Last one was 89 5sp SWB with wind up windows and PS. |

My early '90s JX SWB Vit didn't have power steer (or power anything for that matter). |

Mines an 89 jx with wind up windows, and it has PS. Only way to be sure is to lift the hood. |

My parents have got a 94 EFI swb JX it hasn't got power steering, my 94 EFI swb JX has got power steering, there are 2 months difference in build dates. Was it an option maybe? |
