Anyone tried replacing seats in a jimny?
I have been doing way too many kays, I want a better seat. Has anyone upgraded / swapped seats in a jimny before?

I haven't swapped the seats in a Jim before. But I did have a good look while I was repairing some cracks in a jimny floor pan, and it looks pretty typical. Same effort as a coily or vitara IMO.

Thanks for the link!
But I cant go to a deep bucket like that, I also get in and out a lot. I would like a factory seat from something else probably. Whatever is more comfy and not too expensive from a wrecker.
I will also have to consider the width because i have a bed arrangement that I dont want to lose LOL

well either way youll still need to make a similar sort of adaptor. if you look a bit more on that thread youll see he has the attached to a peogot 205 rail assy. so its exactly the same dude no matter what sort of seat you use.

i wouldn't waste your money with the cheaper sports seats around if your looking for something comfortable, at least you know that they're going to be ergonomically correct being a Recaro.
i paid $700 for a 2nd hand pair off ebay... awesome comfort for reasonable $$$'s

OMG my mate would go spastic if I got RX seats, he's a rotory nutter. We put a 12A in his 323 when we were in high school. His brother had a 13B turbo with motec & the works in a 626
I still dunno why they didnt just buy an RX but you know how that is...
