when it comes to winches, buy a well known brand. because the only time your going to actually use a winch, your most likely going to be stuck and alone, and if the winch happens to shit itself your screwed... |

If your stuck and alone, prepare to be called an Idiot. That style is good, Its just your average chinese winch with rope, Probably can be found cheaper with hunting. My Aldi winch has the same outer housing, different brand. (there is going to be a lot of brands with exact same winch) A lot of people recommend to clean out the original grease and put some good stuff in there.. Which i did. |

I recently had my warn 8000 shit itself. Replaced it with a Runva 9500. It had a good work out over Easter and seemed to come through with flying colours. They retail at $850.00 over here. |

This may help, you can narrow most winches that are the horizontal style. As long as you or a friend can weld you should be ok. Of course you do not need t o make it THIS narrow lol.. just short enough to fit. ![]() http://www.zukikrawlers.com/showthread. ... nch+narrow |
