With your front tailshaft that goes to your transfer case to your front diff.when I took it out does the spline suppose to just come out out the shaft |

86 and 90 have the same shaft and unis, it's only the flanges that re different. Steve. |

you cant un bolt a tailshaft from a 1990 sierra and bolt it into a 1986 sierra |

If you want to replace the shaft cauyse you pulled it apart and now dont know what to do look closely where the 2 bits slide together, any luck youll see apunch mark on both bits, lines these up and slide it together |
