Hey all have a nt 84 lwb that I put a 1.3 in. I also have the donor car which was a factory nt 1.3 5 speed. I need to know if the cars have the same diff ratios? Would I be better off putting the nt 1.3 diff centers in my ute to stop it revving on the high way. |

No. The 88 1.3 will have 3.9 ratios. The 84 1L will have 4.11's. But the centres are larger in the 1.3, so they are not interchangable. Swap the whole NT diff into the 1L. |

Really that's for your help. Will this stop it revving on the highway? |

EDIT: Not quite. The 1L transfer is 12% lower in high range, so swap in the donor t-fer case aswell. To make it easier, swap the jack, and front drive shafts too. You will either need a 1.3 LWB rear shaft, or swp the yokes from your donor rear shaft onto the LWB rear shaft. |

Yer that will be better. The 1.0 doffs are to low geared and revs it's guts out with the 1.3 in it. I will just swap the whole diffs over. Are the wt 1.3 centers the same as the nt 1.3 centers. |
