Mite be a dumb question but can i put a front crown and pinion in a rear carrier? A mate has busted a rear diff and i have a front centre laying around. Other wise its a long walk to work for him.

Just make sure you don't mix up the sets. Each ring gear will have worn in with its paired pinion gear.
