Gday all,
Starting too look to buying a Jimny ( no specific model in mind )
Is there a particular model/year I should be looking at? Or a certain year I should steer clear of?
And what would be considered too higher mileage?
I realize that country kms Vs. city kms is like chalk and cheese however I'm considering one at the moment
2000 SUZUKI JIMNY SN413 Type1 JLX with 275000kms, priced at $6k.
I do plan on upgrading the engine so the km's arent a massive concern however I do need it to be reliable
transport for work for probably 12 months before doing the engine transplant.
I dont do a huge amount of km's a year approx 20-30,000kms.
Is it likely to hang on for that long? or am I better off spending $10k for something around the 100,000kms?

Yes, spend the extra $4,000 for a low km jimny.

I reckon you could get a car with way less Km than that for 6K. 275km is a lot.

I picked up my 2000 model Suzuki Jimmy for $6000 but it only had 70 000km on the clock.

So i reckon you could easily pick up a Jimny with less km's.
