I want to lift my newly acquired sierra and not sure whether to go spoa or extended shackles? I wish to buy the kits here and not pay for postage. Any help would be appreciated thanks

Well those are two VERY different approaches. Extended shackles will give 1" of lift, and other than for possible castor issues, are fairly harmless, and easily removed. SPOA is a highly involved proceedure, that is fabrication heavy, which can effect ride, steering, castor, driveline alignments, side slope stability, and last but not least, the ability to legally drive your vehicle on the road. Yes, ext. shackles are illegal aswell, but they are also far harder to spot, and infinately easier to revert to standard. If you are just after cheap lift, get a body lift, and 2" spring lift and/or some shackles. |

Yeah 2" body lift and 2" extended shackles sound be ok I guess, I'm after a lower centre of gravity but need more clearance running the 31s, 4" all up is plenty. Thanks for ur opinion. |

Start with a body lift and bump stop spacers. This will give you a bit more room for your 31's, and keep your COG down low. |

Iv got a set of extended shakles ( from you I believe fatzook ) and there awesome, heaps stronger than standard and with my 2" suspension lift i have gained just under 4" total lift and can clear my 31's with only a little hammer work in the wheel wells. |
