Hey guys, for my 2.5l conversion i need to use the 2.0l coil over plug as they are 2 pin and the 2.5l are 3 pin. I removed the 2 pin out of the 2.0l and they were loose and it appears some corrosion has got into there. In the pics the rusty one is the 2.0l.

When i pulled the 2.5l ones out they were brand new. My question is, can i pull the bottom part that goes over the plug off the 3 pin top and put it on the 2 pin top? All the bottom part is a path to carry the current isnt it?

In reality it works but i dont know if technically it will? Cant see why not.

Also, this sensor is differnt between the two motors, not sure what it does?? But plugs are the same. One seems to have a fuel line go through it and the other sensor seems to bypass it and both lines run straight into the back of the throttle body.
