what brand are they? Atari runs some simex copies on his from time to time, and he commented on how heavy they were.

IMO they would be ok for a weekend toy that doesnt see the highway.

Might be a case of false economy though if they dont last as long. Im sure if u tried hard enough u could rip a lug off the carcase

I had the motor way mongrels( retread of a simex) on mine for just weekend work....now Daves4wd has em on his and he has ran them as a daily for a few months....

i never had any problems and would get a retread again in a heart beat!

i haven't run my Insa Turbo's (simex centipede copy) for a while, but i did do a few decent 300+km round trip adventures on them & daily drove on them for a few weeks last winter & a pair have been on my trailer that did 1600kms to coffin bay & back & are holding up well with no real signs of wear or chunks missing.

they are heavy, noisy but they do work well off road, road manners weren't THAT bad considering they're a retard + being so aggressive.

Haha yeh they are outback retreads, they do copies of the simex and bf Goodrich. Look ok quality, considering u can get 4 for 400 bucks. I'd only use my sierra to go 5-10kms to work or use on weekends.

Are they bead to bead or just the tread section? Either way they'll be heavy

yeah the insa turbo's are a bead to bead retard & mounted on a 15x7 steel rim it was just over 34kgs

I've heard decent reviews about them, for 400 for 4 new tyres even if they fuck out I'll get proper ones later

I had retreads on my first troopy and they fell to bits very quickly. But that was because it was very heavy 4wd. On a zook retreads are ok because they are so light. I had the motorway retreads on my first Zook and they were an awesome tyre for the money I paid for them. They didn't seem to wear at all...
