Cayden wrote: I just got offered a 1987 corolla I was wandering if I can put the engine in my Sierra? can anyone help me please That's a 4AGE isn't it? Unless you have excellent fabrication skills it is a shitfight to put in a Sierra. You'd need: Custom engine mounts. Custom radiator mounts. RWD gearbox to suit 4A motor (rare and expensive) OR custom bellhousing adaptor and clutch. Custom jackshaft. Hydraulic clutch master fitted to firewall/custom clutch pedal....etc etc etc 3K/4K/5K Corolla motors used to be fitted to LJ's & Sierras but that was a long time ago. Short answer is.... get the 87 corolla and take it to scrap.. you'll get $80-$100 for it.. |
