![]() http://www.goauto.com.au/mellor/mellor. ... 600024F820 Quote: The 2WD variant, called the ‘Urban’, will give the Japanese car-maker its only non-four-wheel-drive model in its SUV line-up. At least theyre making it rear-wheel-drive. |

gay should have called it something different so it doesn't tarnish the Vitara/Grand Vitara history of being true 4wds. |

Shame. On the flipside, I saw a TV add for the Jimny today, and they are actually marketting it primarily as a Sierra. Some cool shots of it getting muddy... but not sure how I feel about the designation.

I got a email to come test drive one of these around 2 months ago, But in aus people buy the GV cause its a compact true 4x4 that wont break off road. Have already seen one on the road, was a dad driving it not a mum haha, but thats the idea of it, people that want a SUV but wont go offroad. The Urban or 2x4 has been around in America for years, XL-7 also had a Rear wheel drive only. But guess since they are pulling out of US they are moving the urban here. They may also make it so any suzuki can have their AWD system, Wouldnt mind a Turbo Swift with AWD just as a city run around We need this ![]() Not quite sure about this ![]() How about a convertable GV again ![]() and what the late 2013/2014 GV May look like ![]() 2013 line up look pretty good. But hope they keep there concept as the concept Kizashi looked way better than there production one. |

What's the substantive difference between the first two? Other than colour coding they're much the same car from what you can see in the pics. White one looks to have more of a rear bumper... Convertible is just a big swift IMO. Last one just looks like every other overgrown wagon (Territory, Outback, Forester, Trav4.) GV is losing it's 'real' 4WD identity. |

apparently thats what the 2013 GV will look like, they say thats very close to the production vehical prob things will change is usually the lights and toned down a bit. Looks alot like a nissan murano, the current one looks a bit more like the vitara front end wise. Yellow one is the GV Dune, just more aggressive looks, better clearance etc. White one looks like it belongs in a Russian james bond scene chasing after snow mobiles. |

post pics of GV's on thornturds GTFO... those GV concept pics are older than my mum & that last thing will be either the new jimny or sx4, clearly it's too small for a GV replacement. |

Yep they've all been posted here ages ago. And as far as bringing out 2wd, 90% of the ones on the road stay in 2wd for their entire life so whats the diff?
