So ive been doing some searching around.

Some part numbers i have found for ARB side gear sets for various diffs are

728H081
728J081

Im hoping some one in the know, i.e Jowblow or some one else who has real world info can tell me if

the H / J etc has any real world relevance to axle shaft sizes or spline counts etc.

Plastic or steel pistons?

As far as I know the 'J' and 'H' designation is for size of the gear not including the spline. For example there may 10 versions of a 'J' sidegear with different splines. Your best bet is to tell me what spline count you are after including from what make and I will see if I can match something up for you.

So the J gear is the same size and shape in all the lockers its used in, but has a different size spline through the middle?

IM looking at the possibilities of upsizing the spline and size of rear axles in a vit centre.

running full floats with bigger outers aswell
