Gidday crew,
A bloke on another forum (yes there is such a thing!) is going to be picking up a '93 sierra from South Australia- and driving it back to Perth.

He needs to know if there is room to fit a double swag, an esky, 20l or so of water, and a little (very little  ) luggage on board.

oh yeah- and his missus too

I understand rear seats are fitted to this particular zook- meaning even less room to use.
Not sure if its a ragtop or tinbox.

Anyone able to do some measuring?

Thanks,

stephen.

It would depend on how big the esky is. I'm a chippy and fit a compressor, cordless drill, hammer drill, grinder, jigsaw, saber saw,(all in there plastic cases)big circular saw, little circular saw, planer, a few nail guns, leads, air hoses, a big bag full of hand tools, dropsaw. Etc etc. just depends on how good at Tetris he was. I've still the front seat spare aswell!! I have a 91 tintop! With the backseat in!

The length of the swag might be the killer
2 singles would fit but the double might be to long to go across

Double Swag = not a chance

All double swags I've seen are massive. Be better off taking a dome tent and sleeping bags

If u fold it long ways before you roll it it will be narrow enough to fit, but becomes more like a big ball. Just an idea

i got a double swag in my 90 hardtop i just sit it on the roof and put a ratchet strap though the rear windows on the the bar across the window. strap it down and it wont move and its not like it could effect aerodynamics anymore.
