hey guys
just wondering is there a differnce between clutchs on f10a i have a sj40 that i got in bits and im putting a motor from a maruti stockman , i noticed the maruti had a spigot bearing in the flywheel and that my old sj40 flywheel doesnt have room for the bearing in the flywheel not to sure what supported it on the sj motor ,

eny who im needing to buy a new clutch and just wanted to no if i get one for the maruti motor will it fit my sj40 gearbox

i dont have eny old clutchs to see is all , and i noticed on ebay there is diffent listings

eny help would be grand

Some 1.0's run the spigot bearing in the flywheel like 1.3's.... others run it in the back of the crank like most other cars...
Some 1.0 input shafts have a stepped end so will work with either bearing.

Hey mate,

I believe on the sj40 the spigot bearing is in the crank, but an odd size or something. Yes the spigot bearing for the maruti motor is in the fly wheel but the diameter of the input shaft is the same where the spigot bearings run in both cases.

I used a maruti motor with my sj40 4 speed and no dramas, uses a maruti flywheel, clutch and pressure plate. So you should be fine.
