Has anyone put a vitara radiator in a Sierra before???? If so was how did you mount it. And us it even possible for one to fit. The steering box looks like the only thing that may cause a drama. |

Yes it is possible. People quite frequently do it when they run the vitara engine. Is it for a conversion? |

Personally I have the 1.6 efi engine with the standard vit viscous hub fan and the Sierra shroud on a new alluminium 1.3 Sierra radiator. I've had no cooling issues. However I'm going to be installing a 14inch spal thermo fan. Fatzook ran one of these in his 1.6 ute I believe. He made up a custom shroud out of sheet steel. I'll be doing this purely as overkill. As I have spent a bit of money on my engine recently. I believe with the vit rad u run some steel across the bottom of the Sierra radiator supports and bolt the bottom of it down. Pm 2stroker as he told me how to do it. I think either 16zuk or oozuk has the vit rad aswell! |
