Hi all,

Just wanted the opinions of some more experienced suzi enthusiasts, i have got myself a 84 1ltr LWB sierra in very good condition. i need to get rid of the car to raise money for house reno's for expecting kiddies. it is stock except for 4k motor and 5speed toyota box, there is no rust and the car has gotten a full stripped down respray (chassie blacked and every thing).

I am going to get the car RWC and rego later this week (hopefully), and have access to all the parts to make it a very capable (read both look very cool and perform very well) modified offroader.

My question: is the car worth more in near standard condition (fresh paint and all original panels and bars) or am i better off putting in a bit more work to "tuffen" it up but loose any stock appeal and probably irreversible modifications?

Any and all guidance is appreciated.

PS: Before anyone tells me to just suck it up and go play in it, i have another SWB for offroading in.

I reckon the most it would have fetched would be with the original 1L and 4sp. Sell it as is. You won't see any returns on mods now.

Yeah but you're a sonofabitch!

$1200 is DEFINATELY NOT the market value of that thing!

True, I wouldn't of paid any more than 6hunge. The seller has good binoculars, because he saw you coming!
