Want to get some slightly bigger meats for the Vit. I want to go for 235 75 r15. Question being will I have to get some sort of lift or can I get away with chopping up my guards a bit? Would wheel spacers help the cause as well in regards to rubbing on the inner part of the guard. Basically I'm a cheapskate and dont really care about flex at the moment. Just want some extra clearance. I'm currently running 225 35 r15 I think. I also like the idea of keeping the car low as being a shorty and having a loaded roof rack will at some point get me into trouble. It is my DD as well so dont want to do anything unroadworthy that I cant fix with some quick talking and a few bucks. If I did have to go for a lift it would be budget and probably consist of spacers. I keep hearing about commodore shocks in the rear. What sort of price would I be looking at for those shocks?
