Hey guys just a question, i ripped out my old fuel tank out and replaced it with a not squashed one, but the fuel guage was reading just above empty, then put $20 of petrol in it and the guage went straight to empty,

Now for my question, can you put the fuel float thingy thats in the fuel tank that reads how much you got upside down ??

Ok how easy is this to do at home ? Can any joe blow do it with basic tools ? And does the fuel tank need to be empty when removing it ?

Would it be better just to buy a new one ?

Cheers
Keith
