bits4vits has been too damn good on quality, service, helpfullness, back up of products and postage, that I wouldn't take a risk on a new bod. They may be fine of course. |

Hmmm, another England Vit brand. First Bits4vits, then Jimnybits, now mods4vits. I remember Dave wanst happy about someone undercutting him on safari snorkel copys., when he was trying to sell the genuine thing. If ya look at the products they sell, one thing that im interested in is the Shock relocators look awfully familiar to bits4vits ones, if it aint daves he wont be happy. even shop categories layout is sim. |

GV rear springs have a tighter pig tail at the top than Vitara springs. |

Anyone got the calmini SWB vit 3" spring lengths? I tried searching for the thread with all the pics & measurements but didn't manage to find it.. I got some lengths from Mods4Vits, but i didnt specify swb or lwb..  Rear springs are 18.5 inches(470mm) long and the fronts are 15 inches(381mm) long. |

Ah, hello fellow Suzuki owners. I see you have seen the website. I haven't copied any of Dave's products, i'm not like that... All my products have been designed and tested by myself and a lot of fellow Suzuki owners before they are sold in the web shop. Most products will look similar, i.e. prop spacers, strut spacers, shock relocators etc etc etc. I know and talk to Dave every now and then and i know the reasons he is 'winding down'. I am not out to copy ideas or try to steal business. The market is very large and i am sure there is plenty of business to go around (Dave said the same in a recent email) I will introduce myself in the correct section shortly. Scotty M4V |

I won't say anything else on the matter. As for the springs being primered, i had a customer ask if this was an option as they wanted to get the springs powder coated. I put the option on as i had a set of Mk1 springs painted to trial the finish and durability of a 2k paint. Since then i have secured a very good on powder coating and am in the process of having some other products zinc plated. You may feel i am treading on Dave's toes but i can assure you that he had no bad feelings when i talked with him. I hope you can understand that i am not on here to advertise like i have stated before, i just like to see what happens on the other side of the world. I can assure you that the springs are manufactured to a very high standard. The coating, in my opinion, isn't as important as the correct rate and poundage. The powder coating i am currently using is to a very high standard and i can assure you it isn't a backstreet job. If we are 'slating' companies about coatings then i can give you a few names to stay clear of. I have recently had to re coat 2 sets of springs (not mine may i add) and some castor correction arms due to them stating to be powder coated and actually can 'rattle canned' i wont name and names.... |
