| Post subject: | Sierra rock slider problems |
Today's plan is to put on my new rock sliders but iv hit a problem with placement and they won't fit between the body mounts and the only place they do is higher up we're the panel under the door is and I don't know how to proseed if any one has an idea that may help pleas tell me ![]() ![]() ![]()

I take it that you have got these off something else and want to fit them you yours now. Just cut off the mounts and re-mount them into the right place to avoid the body mounts, and sit as neatly as you can under the sill. your going to have to modify the mounts anyway so you can bolt them onto the chasiss, so just do it properly. or just dump them and weld some rhs where the sills currently are. |

The last guy that had them fited them to those point that I showed and I have a suspistion that it was a sj50 that thes came of But I think ur right and should reweld the mounts |

SJ40-SJ50-SJ70 all the same shit when it comes to the body mount outriggers. I'd say the car those sliders came off had a bodylift. |
