I've just done the gti conversion on my sierra and I didn't want to bash in my fire wall so I bought the angle drive adaptor for the sierra dizzy and I was wondering if I can use the stock gti ecu?? Ive got a microtech ecu but I went to get it tuned and the guys who are tuning it said that my computer might be fucked so they have to send it off to microtech. They've been calling microtech to get a quote to see how much it will cost to repair and they are taking awhile to call back and I'm sick of waiting for my zook to be ready to go out in the bush(its been 5-6 months since I've been 4x4ing with my zook) please help!!!

Good luck getting the remotely resembles customer service or help out of micro-notech. Call them every day til you get an answer.

You should be able to get it going on the stock ecu, plenty of others have.

Mk1 is a fuel only computer so you can even run a dizzy that is belt driven of a cam sprocket if ya want.

IIRC the stock ECU will work correctly with a sierra dizzy.
