Hi I have a swb vitara, long story short, I bought the car with a noise thinking it was the transfer case I replaced it and the noise is still their so I have narrowed it down to gearbox. I am going to put another gearbox and transfer in with new clutch and rear main seal and was just hoping some people on here could give me tips and heads up on different things that make it easier or links to topics about it and diagrams as I am a amateur mechanic but like to give everything a go myself. Any help will be much appreciated thanks.

I don't have either of them. I will be doing it at home which will make it interesting I wish their was a hoist here

The boxes aren't too heavy but definitely a two person job. Take your time and ask any questions here
