Can you solder wires that are used in a wiring loom such as the Baleno where a computer is used.

power and earth wires yeah
injector and sensor wires mostly
the 02 sensor is likely a shielded wire, its best not to muck with this one as cutting the shielding away to join it might cause problems

I had to cut the one that goes in the exhaust as it didn't reach.

loom side of the o2 sensor plug should be alright?

it's just normal wire... the actual o2 sensor wires are shielded. :?

Some Vit ones are shielded all the way in, Sure the G13bb in the LJ is too

I have successfully joined TV arial wire, which is double shielded stuff with weird plastic coating in there as well.

Just do your best too keep the sheilding stuff in tact, it doesnt have to be perfect, it just has to be there.
