Hi guys..it really disapoints me to have to go to this extent, but does anyone have any contact details of a member on here known as simozuk? I paid him a large sum of money back in December for a set of hilux front & rear arb lockers including compressor, plus freight & I have been given the runaround ever since.

If anyone knows him or has some contact details it would be greatly appreciated if could you please pm them to me. Also, simozuk if ur reading this please at least get in contact with me so we can get this sorted. Either refund the cash or freight the goods please..

Yep. He tried to rip me off 3 or 4 years ago. I posted that he was dodgy in his for sale threads a few times. I have his name and address in a filling cabinet somewhere, Will try and find it.

How do you feel about potentially giving the money to somebody and never seeing it again?
How do you feel about receiving a part that perhaps the sellers idea of good condition is a lot different to yours?
Do you really want to go through the aggro of trying to recover the goods or your money (and I am not much help, I don't have a magic box full of everyones details)

So when looking to buy something, here is what I do.
Is the item somewhere I can pick it up and look at it?
Is the seller somebody of decent standing on this forum or they just turn up to sell stuff (look at their profile and posts, bit of research goes a long way)
Is the amount small enough that I don't mind the gamble and can afford to throw it away (If so I suggest you head to the rusho raffle thread instead)

Remember, if something goes bad, we will try to help but we aren't here to help and have no set channels to so you may be on your own.

Wouldn't it suck if in order to access for sale and wanted you had to send me a form with all your personal details and copies of ID so I can give to to anyone that had a problem, thats how it will go if it gets worse.

That sucks... I bought a Vit transfer off him a while back. Only contact was through the forum, and I collected it from his place up near Newy in person.

Case was fine, price was OK, was ready for me to pick up when I arrived and he was fine to deal with, pleasant in person, and helped out with wrapping the case for me so I didn't get oil all through the car.

Thought I'd add my experience for some balance.

Yeh he seemed fine at the beginning..was helpful with getting quotes for freight etc, then we entered the Christmas period when everyone is busy & companies close down so I let it slide for a while, but its getting way outta hand now.
