Also what model cj? ?

Post subject:  Re: cj jeep springs q's

they are about 100mm longer than efs lifted rears.
they are 50mm wide like sierra springs.

cj7 fronts is what your after.

it will move your diff about 50mm back.

None of them bolt straight in. So it could be any spring

Had no luck finding mq patrol lengths but I know they are longer on 1 side by quite abit like 4 or 6"

This is a start.

http://www.generalspringkc.com/Leaf_Spr ... s/1947.htm

This one gives you everything but the spring length  But you can compare the pring rate between the MQ and the Sierras

This may come in handy for someone later on.

I had mq springs in my sierra on the rear. They werent that long. And way too stiff

Post subject:  Re: cj jeep springs q's

the way i figure it, rear sierra are around 100mm longer than front sierra springs.
so CJ being around 100mm longer will be equivalent to RUF.
and we have all seen how much improovment is in a RUF setup.

Post subject:  Re: cj jeep springs q's

something to consider tanshi is that theres next to no weight in the rear - the reason the front benefits so much from RUF is that the rear leaves have less rate than the fronts.

Post subject:  Re: cj jeep springs q's

true, but the benifit will be more than normal two inch lifted rears.
plus if you play with spring rate like you should any way you will get even more benifit
