I'm rebuilding my transfer case ATM and I'm going to tap a 1/4 bsp thread in for a transfer breather. Question is how do you get the insert out of the transfer case??

vise grips. will take a bit of twistyness but they do come out. youll destroy the fitting in process.

Cheers guys I thought that might be the case, just didn't want to go to over board incase it wasn't a pull out thing. Time to pull out the elbow grease!! Might grind flat spots either side so I got some more grip
