Hi guys Just wondering what offset to get on 15x8 rims to put on a 95 LWB vitara to do minimal guard bashing. It's gunnu get a 2 inch body and 2 inch suspension lift. I don't mind if they stick out a bit, I'm more than happy to get flares. It'll be used 70% Road, 30% Fun. Cheers |

why 15x8's?, personally i'd be getting a 15x7 for a 10.5" wide tyre. |

i run a -15 15x7 & have a fair bit of "poke" which does wonders for stability. |

Oh righto, Probably shoulda guessed that. I was thinking -13 on the 15x8s. Do you find you get a bit of tyre bulge from the 10.5s on the 7 inch rim? Most of my driving is highway so I don't want to jeopardize my onroad handling too much. I'm gunnu get 75mm flares off ebay so I spose it won't really matter too much if they stick out up to 2-3 inches. |

i'd be looking at a 15x7 with an offset around -12 to -15 if you want something to counter act the lift as there is no need for a 15x8 on a 10.5" tyre & if you were stepping upto a 15x8 you'd need something like -22 or greater to get the same sort of wheel track increase. i really doubt you'd notice the difference with road holding, but where the 15x8's will come unstuck compared to a 15x7 would be when you're aired down as there will be less pressure on the beads & the chances or rolling a rim off the tyre could be greater. |

15X7 10p will be the best fit for least amout of cutting but the -13 will allow more stability |
