So all you guys who said my 15's wouldn't fit on my new 1999 2 L SWB truck because of the larger brakes were right on the mark........however the wheel goes on and bolts up nice, plenty of room between the disk and wheel... It's only the caliper that touches the wheel face and rubs to prevent the wheel from turning freely... It turns but not without rubbing.

Do I

A. Sell wheels and tyres buy new wheels and tyres at considerable expense

Or

B. get a grinder and take 2mm off the edge which is rubbing and get my self up and running

I personally would buy new wheels, stuff playing with your brake components they do at the end of the day save your life.

I wouldn't touch the brakes, just sell the wheels and tyres you have to offset the cost of the correct ones and put it down to expearence.
Good advice is only worth it,if you take it.

So this all turned out great in the end.... The wheel i tried on was the spare which was the same size but different offset... 15 x 7 with 0 offset

Before I took to it with a grinder, or before I went out to get new wheels.. I thought i better try one of the actual wheels off my other truck..... on they went with no space issues at all... turns out the 15 x 7 with -15 was PERFECT fit and i had a nice 5mm gap between the wheels face and the caliper.
