So I really need some slightly longer than stock radius arms with castor correction for ~3" lift

I have some custom jobies but I think they are over corrected and cause my shocks to foul on the springs and the drag link to foul on the arms under flex.

I know of all the aftermarket options - JB, Snake etc.

I am wondering if there is any alternate vehicle options that would do the job with minimal or no modification to chassis and axle housing mounts. I expect different bushes and perhaos different diameter bolts, but if thicker, this is no problem.

Just go jimnybits castor corrected radius arms, we have had them in ours for over a year now and they require no modifications at all and fix the castor issues

Im using jb arms with a 2" lift. I had to flip my front panhard due to the weld on ora diff guard on the front!

I am a little concerned about TMR rules. Someone on here got severely castrated by the TMR. They did a complete check and fined him for heaps I believe. Sure there are other questionable things on our cars to, but these are an obvious modification.

Strange as it may seem, I have been pulled over a dozen times in the Jimny, I am quite sure because of the roll cage, but not one officer has said a word about it. Except for one for a warning for cracked windscreen, I have not been ticketed for anything relating to the Jimny. All other times was just a license and breath test and on my way.

how can they fine you for putting in stronger corrected radius arms, the part exceeds stock and its not even illegal as your not changing the suspension type its still the same. it would be the same as putting in a replacement part to fix something broken.

Because there's no guarantee or evidence the replacement arm complies with any manufacturing or material standards at all, let alone any negative effects it may have on the vehicle.

Ive also heard your also not suppose to have any welded arms unless crack tested and proven by an engineer!

Sorry for the dig- missed this- yes, loosely, that's my understanding. Most engineers though will be very reluctant to approve fabricated arms even with crack testing as the design, material, and welding procedure is still unknown. You'll notice that most replacement radius arms made here are made from a single piece of thick plate rather than fabricated.

Just jumping in with a quick question. We are looking at a 2-3" suspension lift on our Jimny and are thinking of getting the JimnyBits castor-corrected radius arms. Would you recommend the full set, or is it only the front ones that are needed (and just have castor-corrected bushes on the rear?) It makes sense to go the full set but I thought I read somewhere that only the front were really necessary?

you dont need castor correction in the rear unless you are having major dramas with the springs not being streight. i run stock arms on the rear, and havenot had any problems.

As Jezza said, there's no point unless you want to straighten the coils, or you feel the need for HD arms.

I've never had an issue using stock arms.
