Is there anyone that has run Simex Centipedes or the like on a everyday driven Jimny? If yes, how much were they and what do you think of them. |

![]() I did, but run 235/75s now, still run them when it gets really wet. They don't like the black top they wear fast, I payed 500 for Myn with 95% on f100 rims in 31s

32×9.5 on a sierra and was horrible. so noisy, so squirmy, so nasty in the wet. Didnt take long until I changed tyres. |

There couldnt be a worse tyre on the road. In mud they are amazing but no way i would run them daily. Buy a cheap set of all terrains for daily tyres and change them for the weekends. |

i daily'd 31x10.5 on my sierra and they were woeful... they did grip well though... but they wore like mad. IMO - Dont do it. If you MUST run that kind of tyre, mount them on a spare pair of rims so you can fit them when you know you're hitting the slop. Get one of these off ebay to make the change process quicker: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-Advanded ... 359&_uhb=1 ^^ You can get them as cheap as $50 delivered. |

Most of the normal mud tyres are a lot softer compound these days and the advise I was given was that you would be better off running a radial mud tyre with some air in it than a bias type tyre with no air on a light car. I run Mickey T claws on my daily and with a good wheel alignment they don't make any noise at all and grip the road really well wet or dry. |
