Today when i started my Coily i noticed blackish drops on the paving, so i held a piece of paper close to the exhaust:
is this oil or carbon and water from the exhaust?

If I'm not mistaken, its carbon from the exhaust, and water made as a byproduct of the cat. |

I've had someone annoy me while working on the car, and have used this to my advantage.

Normal from a cold start IMHO. Water isn't just use to the cat- it's just the water vapour condensing out. My car has no cat and still drips water from cold. Steve. |
