In the last week my 2013 GV has produced a short but loud “Bzzzz” sound twice now of its own accord. It seems to emanate from the centre of the dash below the sat nav screen. I've never heard it before or since.
Anyone got any idea as to what this is?

Thanks guys. nah -not leaves - I have heard that sound before in other cars. This sound is exactly like a loud TV game show buzzer. Don't think a loose screw either. A screw couldn't generate the intensity and loudness of the noise.

I've got a loose screw or clip behind the instrument cluster in my sierra that vibrates from 3000 to 3500rpm and sounds like a buzzer also. Very annoying, but not annoying enough to make me want to pull the cluster out to take a look cos its been doing it for over 6 months =)

One instance was at a slow coasting speed of about 20 kmh and the other was at a just moving - maybe 5 kmh tops -speed on a trailing throttle.
