Hey guys, Anyone changed a fuel filter on a 93 lwb vitara 1.6 efi? jus wondering where is it and how tricky to change it? Cheers |

It's up near the tank, on the inside of the RHS chassis rail. (From memory) not that tricky to change, The lines are attached by banjo bolts, so don't loose the little copper washers or it will never seal. Steve. |

Thanks a lot. Do you need to stall the engine to clear the lines and disconnect pump or can you just remove fuel cap to release the pressure, don't really know which fuse it would be for the pump? |

No. There's a procedure for depressuring the lines but I don't bother- be aware though that fuel will spurt about a bit once you crack a banjo bolt. |
