Hey Guys
I have a 94 SWB vitara and do a lot of beach work
I recently had the clutch not disengaging , and after a bit of research I decided that whatever I would have to pull the gearbox .Much to my surprise I found that it was literally full of sand and the clutch had seized solid onto the flywheel . I have removed the clutch , Pressure plate ,thrust bearing and spigot bush and will replace the lot, now all I need to find out is how to seal the bell housing . Does any body know if it will affect the clutch if I plug all the drain holes to prevent any more sand entering .
regards
Daz

Leave it as is, and pull the cover plate every so often and hose it out?
