Post subject:  Fuel sender or guage?
Hey

So my fuel gauge does not work and its driving me insane guessing when im close to a low tank so i decided to take out my sender and clean it and it still didn't work, so i took apart the dash and dosent seem like anything is wrong. and i dont want to order a new sender incase it isnt that. is there anyway i can test the sender or dash guage? thanks heaps for the help in advance

Look in the good tech you gotta fiddle with the tabs on the sender

buy one off ebay for 40 bucks delivered from the 4wd products bloke. Its a genuine maruti one.

just buy a new one, the steel fittings are a wanker to undo and refit and you wont want to do it twice. The armature looses connectivity on the copper windings and so the fuel gauge just drops off. Even if you get it working it wont be accurate, they shit themselves all the time. Ensure plug wire on top is ok too.
