Just considering this as an option for my lwb. Thought there was a few guys here running similar setups. I need a bit more length out of my rear springs. From memory hilux leafs are 5mm wider than sierra springs and need to be ground down a little ???? |

Just check that 60mm - i believe they're actually 63.5 or something. Also - Diesel hilux leaves are rated heavier (fronts, not sure about rears) - Petrol are the way to go. Rather than grinding the leaf down and risking a fatigue point, you could make stepped shackles? But given the length of a hilux rear you'll likely need to weld on new hangers anyway. They also have an offset center pin i believe?, so axle position needs to be considered. |
