I have a SJ70 that has a G16B conversion when I bought it. I want to buy a second Gearbox for it that I can recondition then swap out. I assume its the original but I want to be sure before I go out buying another gearbox. Its a 5 speed manual looks just like my first SJ70s gear box but I cant see any writing on it. is there a spot where it may be stamped or what am I looking for to confirm its the original WT SJ70 1993 gearbox? If the bell housing isn't removable and the box bolts together in top and bottom halves it is a 1.3 5 speed. To be bolted to a g16 it will have a bell housing adapter OR an extra lug welded to bell housing. |
