Hey guys, i did search so if its a link away can someone please just let me know.
Anyway, i rebuilt my jimny with a G16b block/head and added a jimny 1300 CAM/sensor and manifolds. Its means that essentially all ive done is changed the block and head and the elec/everything else is jimny. I have gotten it started roughly and it goes between not running at all and only running at WOT. The best i can describe it is it leans out when you open the throttle up. So, it essentially runs the same fuel mixture no matter what the throttle is doing. I replaced the MAP sensor, and have been working at it for a month or so and is starting to get on my nerves a little lol.
Here is two vids, one of the timing, can someone just check that its right and the other is how it runs.

Cheers Wilso :D

Unsure if an unrelated pic will help, but it can't hurt. El jimny on the left.

Pull it all apart, unplug the loom etc and then reassemble?

If be looking for carefully for a damaged sensor, pinched loom, similar plugs plugged in wrong etc.

When done properly it should and does just work.

even with g13bb injectors, it can still work fine.

could be the fuel pressure in the injector rail.

not enough fuel getting to the injectors and thus opening the throttle gives more air but not more fuel.

Ill have another look at the fuel rail and check ive got the fuel lines around the right way, plus pull and clean the rail hopeing that it might have a bit of crap stuck in something i can clean out.

And I've pulled all the sensors maybe 5-10 times, and checked all the earth points are connected up multiple times.

I know its going to be something trivial and a 1min fix i just can't seem to find it yet.

Weak spark you rekon? I did hit the furthest back coil pack on the lip as i pulled it... hard to test tho

mine sorta kinda did that when one of the packs died (dropped 2 cylinders) - it was only on rainy days at first (moisture in the air dropping 1cyl) then eventually both acted up as soon as the engine was warm. A few layers of electrical tape around the stems that go into the plugs bought enough time to drive to suzistore for replacements.

Easy to test - unplug the leads one by one to see if it makes a difference or not.. if one of them makes no difference at all you may have found the culprit.

New coil packs arent cheap either, so you want to be sure before replacing!!
