Quick question. Would a tow hook bolted lengthwise on a solidly mounted 50x50x2mm piece square tube without crush tubes work or totally inadequate? This piece is 150mm long and solidly mounted with gussets but would the bolts tear through without crush tubes? There is no way to get them in there. |

Whacking bolts through it without crush tubes, I wouldn't do it. Perhaps a drawing/sketch/pic of what you're trying to do, and where it is going would be helpful, so we could provide suggestions? |
