Hi all, I've had myself a nice 97 sv420 vitara for a while now but am quite new to doing modifications myself, not the most mechanically minded. I'm looking at giving it a few inches lift but I'm on a pretty tight budget, I've noticed these spring spacers and was just wondering what else has to be done, I.e. Do I need shock spacers as well and anything else? Or is it as simple as putting some chicks above the springs and that's it. Cheers, Will. |

Depends what size spacers. 30mm spacers will be alright with stock shocks but any bigger you would want to get longer shocks or shock extensions |

Depends on what you are trying to acheive by lifting it? IMO a body lift is the cheapest way to fit some bigger rubber but thats for fitting bigger tyres, depends on what your trying to acheive Body lift - PM just_cruizin if you want to head that path, or if you are deadset on spacers PM Bruce to get some made for you. |

Thanks for the replies. I'm just trying to fit some bigger tyres and have a but more room for flex but mine is an auto and I believe they aren't very easy to install body lifts in. But if so, I would love to know how! |
