Hi guys
My Tara has been at the mechanics for 4 months and I've had enough. It was idling really rough and stalling so I sent it in for plugs and points.. It still hasn't returned. Plugs and points were done. Then they sent it to an auto electrician who got it to start again but as soon as you put your foot on accelerator it dies. I also did accidently put the battery in backwards (with the shits at night with a crap torch) every week I ring and they don't know what is wrong with it.. Please help

i could get mine to idle but not run but even then idle was terrible

There is that long list on fixkick site.

I would suggest another mechanic.

What points were done? The distributor is electrical, they've scammed you there.

How many k's is on the motor? Tell us more about the car, i.e. 2 or 4 door, auto or manual, etc.
