so my question is, im going to get a 2 inch lift on my 1992 Suzuki sierra and was wondering what type of upgraded rims and tyre's to get without them rubbing i heard somewhere that 15x7 or 15x8 rim for roughly a 30x10.5inch tyre would suite my car? what are your thoughts/ experiences? any extra information would be greatly appreciated.
Your original post is a bit misleading... you're asking about a 30x10.5... it's either 30x9.5 or 31x10.5, and a 7" rim is best suited for both.
Regarding offset, a stock rim is 5.5" wide with 0mm offset, most 15x7's i believe are a -12 to -15mm offset, so the edge of the rim will essentially sit in the same place as factory, the tyre however is larger in diameter and therefore comes VERY close to the leaves at full lock. 3mm offset might be the difference between it rubbing on the leaf or not depending on the tyre you choose and what size they are (each manufacturer is different, regardless of what's on the sidewall).
