Over fuelling

This may be a female question but no one else helps.. If my Tara is over fuelling what are options it could be? Pump? Injectors?

This may be totally irrelevant but my m18a converted jimny was over fuelling due to way to much air flowing past the airflow meter when the factory ECU was still a 1.3 and it wasn't coping so I had a piggyback ECU installed to overcome this and it worked a treat......also how clean is your air flow meter and your air filter as this can be an issue??

Fuel pressure regulators are starting to give trouble at this age.

Will check out the fuel pressure regulator.. Had ecu replaced and it allows it to run but at high revs as soon as revs lower she drowns in fuel.. Will check back when have done the regulator

Has the o2 Sensor been replaced?

I don't think so.. Does that have anything to do with air flow sensor?

No. O2 sensor will cause fuelling issues on cruise, but not all the time.

If it's doughy/stumbly rich off idle etc I'll still go with fuel pressure regulator.

Can't even get it to drive. Only get it to rev every now and then so must not be o2 sensor.. Have ordered a fuel pressure regulator so hopefull when that is changed it will run fingers crossed lol

Does the Check Engine Light come on at key on and then go out when the engine starts, if it is on all the time then there will be fault codes present. Randomly changing parts could get very expensive very quickly, you need to perform some diagnostic checks. The O2 sensor will cause fuelling issues all the time however it shouldn't cause that big a problem.
Is this an 8V engine or a 16V?

No engine light no fault codes had all that checked.
