my mate has a 92 sierra and the starter motor has died, he wants to no what starter motors are compatible to a 1.3l sierra? dose one from a 1l fit etc?

Most if not all 1.6 vitara starters probably suit as well. When I bought my vit motor for the upgrade the starter was identical to the sierra one. I now have a couple laying around but that's probably not much use to you, i'm in tassie!

My starter has also shagged its self, are there any pre-engaging solenoids that fit the sierra housing? like hopefully a swift or barina?

an misubitshi are the makers of it ( some lancer one fit) i had to get an new solinoide ad i got one for na lancer/ebay and it fited and worked fine
