Hi All

Just like to say Hi with my first post. This looks like a cool and informative forum.

So I did a silly thing the other day. Helped my son buy a cool little sierra with a Vitara G16b conversion. It also came with an SC12 toyota supercharger installed. It wasnt running, but I foolishly thought it would be an easy fix seeing as we could bump start it.

We got it cheap as it wouldn't start on its own, and had a few other little problems I thought would be easy to fix. Would bump start right into life. After replacing a faulty alternator and starter motor the damn thing wont start anymore.

I've also remover the SC12 supercharger as the engine seems a little long in the tooth and I'm not sure it's been tuned. It was also too cramped to fix the alternator so needed to come out anyways.

So to the questions...
1. Should all vitara motors come with an Air Flow Meter. This engine doesn't have one and it was running without it. It was running very rich though for the few minutes weve been driving it.

2. Is there a link to an AUSTRALIAN sierra wiring diagram. I've been looking without luck. I've removed a ton of wat i thought was uselessm wiring but I've obviously touched something I shouldn't. It will cough and splutter like it WANTS to start, but doesn't get there.

I'm sure i'll have more questins after having another go at it on Saturday.

cheers
Damo

Yes all Suzuki installed g16b efi engines, have a MAF sensor.
I'm not sure a sierra wiring diagram is going to help much, may be more helpful to find out what(ecu number) g16b motor wiring loom is being used, and look that way.

........what(ecu number) g16b motor wiring loom is being used..........

Thanks. How would I find that out?

I've already got the G16b wiring diagrams. They came with the car. I missed the airflow meter when i was looking at that for the first time. I've seen 3 and 5 wire mentioned. My diagram has 5 wires to the MAF so assuming its a 5 wire.

cheers
