As per topic heading. Early grand vitara V6 2.5 litre, no immobilisers or complications into an older vitara 2.0 V6. Any issues with this swap? Im actually guessing this is going to be pretty plug n play, but im not sure about how complex the swapping of the ecu is. |

DID YOU FIND OUT ANYTHING ABOUT THE ENGINE SWAP? I'M LOOKING AT SWAPPING MY H20 ENGINE FOR A H25 TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE AND ECONOMY. |

Easiest way and the way most people go is to source a h25 long and just swap all sensors etc over from your h20 and bolt back in, most sensors are the same anyhow and the wiring ECU currently in the sv620 work fine with the bigger capacity. upgrading to the h25 injectors is recommended also but not essential. swapping the loom from the h25 would not be very easy because of the way the loom is run completely differently between GV and SV models including ECU location. |
