Speaking from past experience Lovell's springs can sometimes be slightly stiffer than other brands. Its barely noticeable in a full size 4x4 with lots of accessories and junk in it but im not sure how it would affect a lighter 4x4.

I would suggest you approach with caution ...
1 - You're asking about a 2.5 litre Grand Vitara 2 - The auction you're looking at says it's for an XL-7 3 - The list of compatible vehicles shows Grand Vitaras from 1998 to 2015, a range of vehicles which have very different suspension designs.
In short, you can't tell, from the auction description what vehicle the lift kit actually fits, and previous personal experience with this vendor has shown me that this is the norm for them - contact them and ask before you buy.

Thanks fordem, I intended doing that. I will email them tonight. I was hoping somebody had used them. I see also that they say 50mm lift where most others only say 30mm. Is there any problem going with 50mm.

Just an update. After speaking to them they sent me Kings springs and Webco shocks. Lifted car approx 45mm when first fitted (havn't checked if settled any after 4 months. Some toe in at bottom of front but still drives well. Very happy with the ride on dirt. So far appear to be value for money but is not daily driver.

If you're looking from above and the front of the tires are closer together than the rear of the tires (the tires are pointing inwards) that is "toe-in", if the front of the tires are further apart than the rear (the tires are pointing outwards) that is "toe-out". If looking from the front and the tires are not vertical, that is camber, top in is negative camber, top out is positive camber. Lifting a macpherson strut equipped vehicle like a Grand Vitara will result in positive camber and excessive toe in - if left uncorrected, the front tires will have a VERY short life.

Thanks Fordem for the information. I will book it in for camber adjustment. I believe adjustable camber bolts are available. I just picked up another GV tonight to pull apart to gain a snorkel and ARB diff locks, this car has lifted springs as well as a body lift so may have the camber bolts I need to fix mine. I will have a look tomorrow.

Hey Macca52,
I was wondering if you still have the same setup with the webco springs and shocks on your GV, and if after the camber alignment it runs smoother.
Was considering this set, as opposed Dobinsons kit, that is double the price. However you mentioned something about 'not a daily driver' and I'm confused as in you wouldn't use it on a daily driver, or is your GV just not a daily driver?
Any feedback and advice would be appreciate it. I'm not sure if a 2000$ to buy and fit the Dobinson's kit is justifiable on a 2001 vehicle with 250.000kms haha
