So for a while now ive been wanting to upgrade my factory air filter setup (you know the massive clunky one that takes up half the space of the engine bay), and for that exact reason. Wanting to know whether a cold air intake style pod setup would be good or just putting a filter straight on the carby. Or even if the original setup is better to stick with. Love any opinions and pics of your own setup. Thanks

The factory filter is the smallest appropriate size for the vehicle and use. I dislike the way it is constructed and prefer to use a different filter and housing, but it’s not smaller.

Pod filters are inadequate.
