Hi There,

Can anyone advise on where I can purchase a snorkel from for my SQ625 2004 GV H25A 2.5l intake on drivers side. Searched every wreckers from Gold Coast to Sunny Coast and online, but for this model they seem to be pretty rare to come by. Only new one I can find on EBay is GIS from Taiwan. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

None of the "normal" snorkel manufacturers do a snorkel for the SQ series vehicles which is perhaps why you can't find one in a wrecker - GIZ & FTS are your best bets - be very careful with ebay purchases as you will find snorkels incorrectly advertised as fitting - if the template shown is rectangular, it most likely is for the previous body style.

I bought my 1998 GV SQ V6 drivers side mounted snorkel direct from FTS (emails - they don't have an online shop), along with bash plates and something else (I can't remember). It arrived quicker than I get stuff from the east coast, and was perfectly suitable, fitted nicely and priced well.

That was a year ago now but I don't think things have changed much.

Definitely check out FTS they have a lot of great gear that is hard to find for GVs. I have the same model and found those guys very helpful.
